The laptop screen is quite fragile and the replacement of it will cost much more than that of the batteries or ac adapters, so the protection or maintenance of it becomes very important. The following are some laptop screen maintenance tips.
Firstly, purchase a protective film for the laptop screen
Affixing a protective film to the laptop is definitely one of the best ways to protect the screen. A good quality notebook film can not only effectively prevent dust, but also prevent screen scratches. However, one thing to notice is that some users like to take the film off when using the laptop, and paste on while not using. This is not good, because frequently remove the film can easily make the outer membrane oxidized and will not protect the laptop screen.
Secondly, do not touch the LCD screen with your fingers

Installation Of A Screen Protector On The HTC Inspire
Once you’ve chosen the perfect HTC Inspire accessories, including an HTC Inspire screen protector, it’s time to begin customizing your phone. Unlike cases, a screen protector is not always that easy to install. This means that if you have bought a high quality screen guard you will want to be extra careful. If they are not installed properly you will notice that there is dirt left under the screen guard or even air bubbles. You cannot keep removing it because it will not have the same stick as the first time it was used.
Before installing your screen protector, you need to clean the screen. The great thing is that you will notice that many protectors come with a cleaning cloth for your screen. If your screen protector did not come with a cleaning cloth, any felt or microfiber cloth will do. Before you install the protector, the screen needs to be completely dry and clean. Even if your screen appears clean, thoroughly clean the screen anyway. More than likely, oil from your face has transferred onto your screen. This oil can loosen the screen protector prematurely.
Before removing the screen protector from the film backing, place the protector on your screen. You will want to see exactly how big the screen protector is in comparison to the screen of your HTC Inspire. Most screen protectors will not be a perfect fit. It’ll make it easier to put the protector on properly if you know how far it should sit from the edges.
You may also check to see if there are any small flaps that can be used as handles. Some of them come with removable handles that are used during installation and then later removed. If there is no such flap, stick a piece of clear tape on the top and bottom of the screen protector. Holding on to the tape, lift the protector up and position it on the screen. It is very important to never touch the adhesive back of the screen guard. Doing so will leave smudges that cannot be removed. Once you have the protector perfectly positioned, place the protector on the screen starting at the top edge. Lay it down slowly, working your way to the bottom of the screen.
Once the screen protector is on the screen, you may remove the tape from the screen protector. Next, take a credit card and slowly try to smooth out any air bubbles under the screen protector. Refrain from lifting the screen protector up to release air bubbles. If you’ve placed the protector carefully, the air bubbles should be able to be removed when buffing them out with a card. After you’ve gotten rid of any air bubbles, you can snap on your HTC Inspire case, or charge your battery with your phone charger.
env3 screen scratch easier then others?
i have an env3 and it seams the screen scratched really easy...easier then any other phone i had. is it just me or does it really scratch easier?
buy the clear protectors from the camera section at wal-mart. i leave mine on from the factory gotta buy a replacement now
