Inflatable Pool Slides – 3 Water Toys That Will Get The Kids Outdoors This Summer

With Summer time upon us thoughts turn to spending more time outside. For kids more than ever it is a chance to play outside and the warm conditions will really persuade them to loosen their grip on the Xbox controller or Wii nunchuk. Inflatable pool slides fit into two categories. You'll find the slides that are used with an existing pool and those that are standalone.

Standalone slides are usually quite elaborate set ups that have their own splash pool and are also referred to as an inflatable water park.  These are pretty amazing toys for kids – think bouncy castle with water. In fact, any kid in the neighborhood that gets an inflatable water park will likely be the most popular kid going.

The other type of standalone slide is a slippy slide that is just a long sheet of PVC that is placed on the ground. A device is attached to it with the intention that water run across the sheet keeping it slick and ideal for sliding along. You can even make this kind of slide yourself using the aforementioned PVC sheet plus a sprinkler system but real slippy slide products had added extra features to make their slippy slides more amusing.

As an example,  there are some twin slippy slides that let two kids to race each other. There's a flag at the end and the 1st kid to seize the flag is the winner. This aspect of competition is certain to have the kids playing all day.

The inflatable water park type toys are large and often have more than one slide. They have other things for the children to do also. The slide must be positioned on the edge of the pool. It is not as elaborate as an inflatable water park and also the slide isn't as long but it is straightforward to use and is still great amusement.
