Psi Threaded Coupling
tires losing pressure?
I have an 07 Mazda3 and recently I've noticed after filling up my tires to roughly 35 or so PSI, a couple of days later the tires would lose psi. It drops to about just under 30 or so PSI. It is very noticeable especially driving around, the tires feel very deflated and steering is heavy. The tires even LOOK deflated. They're 205/50/17 (oem size) bfg g-force sports with about ~13,000 miles on them with plenty of thread left.
Before this, I consistently kept my tires at about ~35 PSI but all four tires constantly lose pressure after I fill them up so I don't think leakage is the problem. I've tried a new set of valve stems but same results. Any advice?
Thanks
Edit: I replaced the valve stem CAPS, not the valve stems themselves. I fill my tires up at the same gas station (about a mile drive). And I use my own gauge (the dinky pen type) not the gas station's.
The mud valve on Mazda's tires need to be checked periodically. Have your tire man check that.
