Calculate the pressure that Piston A exerts on the liquid.. Give the unit.

b) The liquid in the container exerts the same pressure on piston B. Use this pressure to calculate the force on piston b.

NOTE: Piston a = area 2.0cm 3
Piston b = area 8.0cm 3

I have rewritten your units as cm2 because area cannot be in cm3!!!!

a) Pressure = Force/Area
2.0cm2 = 0.0002m2

hence pressure = 200/0.0002 = 1000000Newton-per-metre-squared

b) rearranging the equation:
force = pressure * area
