I work as a material handler at a plastic injection molding factory, and we have water lines that attach to the mold and send cool water to it while the mold is closed. A part usually takes 60 seconds per cycle, which is the plastic being injected, cooling, opening, and ejection. When the part drops to the conveyor, it is cooled down enough where you can handle it. I'm not sure about the kw cooling towers per hour though
